Wow, I can't believe she's free. The only evidence that she was "abused" was from her own testimony. That means if my wife ever got tired of me she could kill me then claim I abused her and be home free! While I am no adovacate of abuse in any form, I'm shocked at what I see as a failure of the judical system in this case. Sixty-seven days in a mental facility does not meet the crime of murder!

Mitt Romney submits paperwork for 2008 bid

Yesterday Mitt Romney submitted paperwork for 2008 bid. More specifically, he filed papers to create an exploratory committee regarding a presidential bid.

While I'm not officially backing Romney, I'm interested in his ability as the "turn around" guy. I am tired of the all of the flashpoint issues that the media and political process love to focus on. While they are important, things like the government's role in the economy, business, and foreign policy seem to be much more important issues. While Romney hasn't yet built that much of a platform around his views on foreign policy, he has shown a great deal of ability around balancing a budget, while getting things done.

At this point, I'm eager to see more about where this will go...
